The I-BOX project includes a practicum programme “Clinical training in simulation environment” in which the selected students will have the opportunity to learn and put the knowledge into practice in a very realistic way through the newly created and innovative I-BOX Platform and the materials that have been developed during these years.

The programme will run from 19 April to 6 May 2022 (3 weeks) and will be carried out under the umbrella of the European project Erasmus+ I-BOX Digital Toolbox for innovation in Nursing Education in which the School of Health Science of TecnoCampus is the leading coordinator.

The main objectives of the project is to design, create and validate educational materials in digital formats on nursing techniques and procedures in simulated environments. The project team with the support of the audiovisual learning and quality service department have jointly created different e-learning tools (infographics, podcasts and videos). This training will allow validating those materials and the platform.

Participants will share experiences in an international environment and enjoy the facilities of the Centre for Simulation and Innovation in Health (CSIS). As a result of this exchange programme, the students will reach competences and skills in techniques and clinical procedures. They will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and clinical cases as if they were in a ‘real’ simulation environment. In addition, the programme schedule will include some cultural activities.

The international participants must be students enrolled in the Bachelor Degree in Nursing at the partner universities of the project (University of Maribor, University of Tirol, University of Turku), and can benefit from a travel grant that each partner university will manage internally with its allocated budget. The participating students will be awarded with 5 ECST credits.

The deadline for registration is 14/03/2022.
