The last two years have been one of the most difficult and challenging for healthcare professionals across Europe. The I-BOX project has been able to respond to the needs of nursing students and teachers with diligence. The strong motivation and involvement of the consortium members has made it possible for this innovative Erasmus+ project which has a strong link with the healthcare field. This cooperation has been fully advantageous of the multiplier capabilities offered by the digitalisation context. In one hand, the development of the I-BOX platform with 90 videos, 60 podcasts and 60 infographics on nursing procedures added as digital learning into the training of nurses in European universities. On the other hand, the digital resources have been of huge interest to some of the health centers in different events organized during the project. The work done has finally brought great results, such as the open access I-BOX platform:

Last Tuesday, August 30, the final conference of the I-BOX project “2nd Multiplier Event” took place at the University of Turku in Finland. The event was held in person and the majority of the attendance of Finnish healthcare professionals, academic tutors and managers from different health centers of the Kupittaa district and the city.

The researchers of TecnoCampus as coordinators, Ester Cabrera and Carolina Chabrera of the School of Health Sciences (ESCS), Carles Garcia Head of the Quality Learning Innovation Service (SQAI), presented the results of the “Simulation-Based Training Program for Nursing Practice”. A 20 days training at the Simulation Center that gathered 15 international students who afterward validated the platform.
